What do you do at Blend Accountants?

I look after clients, doing book keeping, VAT, PAYE, preparing accounts and giving general support

What’s your favourite thing about working at Blend Accountants?

The people, mainly. It’s a close knit environment and you don’t get lost in it. We all get along

What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not at work?

I spend time with my partner and enjoy visiting castles, manor houses and stately homes. It takes you out of current times and allows you to imagine what things used to be like - and they’re always beautiful.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Lots of different things, but mostly to be a teacher because of the positive impact my high school teachers had on me.

If you could do one thing to change the world, what would it be?

Get rid of homelessness. Everyone deserves the right to a bed and fresh running water. If I could I’d get everyone off the streets and help them into work.

How do you help put a smile on a customer’s face?

By trying to be genuine, honest and having a laugh with them. Also with small VAT bills!

What cartoon character would you be?

I’d be Eeyore because he’s small and pensive and Peter Pan because he never grows up.
