What do you do at Blend Accountants?

It’s my job to do as little of the day to day work as possible. I ensure that I have the best team around me to help me do that, allowing me the time to focus on driving the business forward.

What’s your favourite thing about working at Blend Accountants?

I like my team. There’s not a single person I wouldn’t want to spend time with. It’s not ‘thank goodness it’s Friday’, it’s ‘fantastic it’s Sunday’ – work tomorrow!

What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not at work?

As well as spending time with my young family, it’s playing video games and doing jigsaws. I’ve been gaming for 30 years. Jigsaws are an activity I can do with the children.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to do gaming for a living but that wasn’t really a thing then.

If you could do one thing to change the world, what would it be?

Put a government together that was honest, genuine and had people’s interest at heart.

How do you help put a smile on a customer’s face?

When I tell them I can help them save or get back an awful lot of money.

What cartoon character would you be?

I’d be the Road Runner because I like to implement changes FAST!
